FreshBrew Coffee actually dates back to 1919, when the Morning Treat brand was introduced to a coffee-thirsty market. With the 1989 acquisition of Café de Todd, the original creator and marketer of the pure coffee “singles” concept, the company’s roasting facilities were moved from Louisiana to Houston. The 1995 acquisition of the company by the current private owners leveraged the brand and took its formulae and traditions of quality, gourmet coffee to even greater levels of coffee connoisseurship and industry expertise.
With more than 90 years of research and development in roasting and blending of quality coffees, we continue to roast our brands and service our customers with old-fashioned personal pride. With added experiences for over a decade building an office coffee service business, we learned the intricacies and demands of that industry, and we earned devotion to excellence in personalized service. Thus, our gourmet quality blends and exceptional service levels are testament to our commitment to coffee excellence and unparalleled customer satisfaction. Our many accolades from such august organizations as the American Culinary Institute serve as proof.
Today, from our roasting plant and packaging facilities in Houston, Texas, the only green coffee port west of the Mississippi and one of only four in the U.S., we now serve more than 1,800 customers throughout the nation, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, cruise lines, airlines, health care systems and office coffee operators.
